The second years are making great strides in Transfiguration this term, I'm pleased to report. However, the first years have achieved a new low in misfires, including Miss Wigworthy's attempt to change a twig to a broom. I'm hoping that Madam Pomfrey can take out all the splinters from Miss Wigworthy's hand. I suspect she'll be improving greatly, and soon.
Gryffindor house is a bit quieter than usual, and I assume that's due to student focus on classes. We'll be having a meeting in our common room on Monday at 9p ET, and another later in the week, but earlier in the day to accomodate time zones (perhaps Weds., at 5pm?) Off to review this week's lessons. And to get those feathers out of the hall. I didn't mean to leave those behind.
